Questo spettacolare laghetto prende la sua colorazione dalla peculiare composizione del suolo in questa part of the island. For here the ground and 'lava, like everywhere else for that matter, but it' s very rich green color of a mineral called Olivine . Being so 'rich in this mineral here is that the magic water "lake which seems to be green ...
olivine and 'of course, much used in local production of necklaces, bracelets, rings and is often used in conjunction with obsidian so' to create a beautiful contrast between black and green stones! The path leading to the pond and then 'full of tables which are attached to small boxes in which to place the currency to 0.50, 1 or 2 Euri that you have to pay if you want to buy one of the copies of Olivine placed on the table and suddivusi in price depending on the size!
This is definitely another place here in Lanzarote, which is worth a visit .... and then just so many restaurants with fresh fish are just around the corner ... So you also have the excuse right!
